I have been proud to be Treasurer of WAC since 2007. I have successfully managed WAC accounts and monies for several conferences. Duties included are maintaining the WAC financial accounts, reminders for renewal of dues, submitting annual reports in addition to the IRS tax form.
Besides acting as Treasurer, I created and have been managing the World of Copepods with Geoff Boxshall. Since the 1990s, we have been updating the World of Copepods website, adding over 85,000 references with over 54,000 pdf files attached to the Virtual Copepod Library.

I did not do this on my own. I had the help of various WAC members, especially Janet Reid who was invaluable in providing help for over 30 years in keeping the taxonomy and bibliography up to date. I have been active in fund raising for special publications such as production of the David Damkaer’s volumes of The Copepodologist’s Cabinet.

Finally, I provide regular updates on the activities of WAC to the membership. I have been happy to serve as Treasurer all these years and will continue the development of WAC and our activities in the future for one more term until 2027.
