To receive a 10% Article Processing Charge (APC) discount, at least one author on a full submission to PeerJ must have a valid WAC membership at the point of editorial acceptance by the journal. The Hub Editorial Team (https://peerj.com/hubs/wac), comprised of renowned WAC members, assesses submissions for community relevance and checks WAC membership of at least one of the submitting authors.

Supporting early-career researchers
WAC is committed to nurturing the next generation of copepodologists. Early career researchers who get awarded for the best student oral or poster presentation at the triennial International Conference of Copepoda (ICOC) will enjoy an APC waiver to publish their research free of charge in the PeerJ  WAC Hub.
